The Al Adaid Desert Challenge is a comprehensive sporting event held in the Al Adaid Desert of Qatar.

It includes cycling (UCI XCP Category 3), road running and children’s races. The race routes wind through sand dunes, with the cycling race covering 38.5 kilometers and the running race 26.7 kilometers. Participants have to contend with extreme desert heat and rugged terrain.

It attracts over 500 participants from around the world. Boasting both competitive sporting appeal and tourism and cultural promotion value, it has become a landmark desert extreme sports event in Qatar.
